Air Pollution

Image text: "Air pollution. I feel that everyone is getting sick because of the air pollution but the air is sick too. My little sister thinks the air is sick because it ate too much ice cream. I feel sad when the air hurts me, but we are hurting it. I have to stay inside on those days. Everyone complains about it but please help me believe we can stop my eyes and my throat from hurting and the sky from hurting. I don't want to live in pollution. I want to be friends with the air."

Gracie Larsen is a fifth grader at Uintah Elementary School. She enjoys singing, spending time in nature, and playing with her sisters. b. 2007
